What Does this EKG Test Result Mean?

Hi, I had an EKG today and it says slight inferior depolarization disturbance consider ischemia LV overload or aspecific change, small negative T in avf and in III. I was dehydrated at the time. I also take adderall and blood pressure medication. It was ordered as I m having surgery to remove my gallbladder and appendix. I ve had several surgeries over the past few years an was never reported to have any issues, though this is my first ekg. Is this a problem? Could my meds or the dehydration or GB issues contribute to this?

Hi,

You have to work up further on such EKG. Go for cardiologist consultation. Get done TMT test, ECHO tests. It will guide your heart status more specifically then EKG results.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pragnesh Limbachiya,
